Antonio Lizana is one of the most outstanding artists on the international flamenco jazz scene. Born near Cádiz, the young singer, saxophonist and composer has just concluded a 3-year tour that took him through 30 countries in 300 concerts, including the flamenco festivals of London, New York, and San Francisco, as well as Womex, Etnosur, Barcelona Jazz Fest, Shanghai Jazz Fest, the Dutch biennial flamenco festival, and many others.
Lizana has collaborated on Grammy-Award-winning albums with Arturo O’Farrill and Alejandro Sanz. He has likewise appeared on scene and/or worked in the recording studio with renowned artists including Snarky Puppy, Marcus Miller, Chano Domínguez, Alfredo Rodríguez, Ari Hoenig, Jorge Drexler, India Martínez, Jorge Pardo, Shai Maestro, Chambao, José Mercé, Josemi Carmona, Carmen Linares, and Pepe Habichuela.
Lizana's new album "Una Realidad Diferente" was released in May 2020 (Warner Music).
