Estelle Perrault has built her musical world through an obsessive passion for the great masters of jazz, such as Bud Powell, Bobby Timmons, and Ella Fitzgerald. Nurtured by her Franco-Taiwanese roots and surrounded by some of the most talented musicians on the current scene, she releases her third album, Promises (Quai Son Records / May 2025), composed entirely by herself from piano-vocal sketches.
Between jazz and soul, Promises reveals intimate, nostalgic songs carried by Estelle's fascinating and warm voice. A personal, sensitive, and elegant musical universe, the result of a close collaboration with pianist and arranger Rob Clearfield.
